Charity Support for The Stroke Association

When Dahl’s  first wife, Patricia Neal, had a stroke he devised a new innovative rehabilitation scheme, which was taken up by others and grew into a whole movement that was a key step in the formation of The Stroke Association. Today, the Stroke Association is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. It supports stroke survivors to make the best recovery they can, campaigns for better stroke care and funds research to develop new treatments and ways of preventing stroke.
