London Book Launch: Roald Dahl's Marvellous Medicine
Tom Solomon's debut book Roald Dahl's Marvellous Medicine launched at Kings Place Festival in London on the 11th of September.
The big day began with event "Dahl for Grown Ups" presented by Times Literary Supplement's Toby Lichtig, where Tom and Donald Sturrock (writer, Dahl's biographer) discussed the appeal of Roald Dahl to an adult audience. During the hour, Solomon and Sturrock talked about the many facets of the author, his incredible imagination and were challenged to choose their favourite Dahl short stories for adults. For Tom, these are William and Mary and Bitch, both of which have strong ties to science.

The event was sold out and the room was full of friendly faces, new and old friends, including Roald Dahl's wife, Liccy, and his son, Theo accompanied by wife Madeleine.

The exciting panel discussion (that led to many questions from the audience) was followed by a popular signing of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Medicine and an intimate gathering to celebrate the book launch with Tom's family, friends and members of each one of the charities benefitting from book sales.
In sum? A truly gloriumptious day.
